Apologies and Updates

So sorry, life got me a bit busy there for a minute, I've missed some updates and events. Check out the links below.

First things first, BROTHERmusic.com has been updated with a bunch of new pictures! The story page one is quite cool. Lots appear across the headers of the pages, as well as on the news page.

And on this news page, is a bit about the upcoming Joshua Tree Didg festival, and a movie from the urban cave album launch at WDST FM in Woodstock, and a goodbye to Rick. Check out what he's up to at RickKurek.com.

Jumping over to the road diary page, there are updates from Angus and T, and a bunch of pictures, from the Catskills (I think this is my favorite), the Borders show here in PA, Hamish and Angus at B93.1 in Modesto, and all in Antioch, Sonora and a beautiful picture of Yosemite. And T and some mud. Interesting...

Very cool updates in all. If you haven't bought Urban Cave yet, you should, it's rockin'. If you have, go to the Urban Cave page and email your thoughts back to the band.

More from me later, I'm off to work on pics! If you want to be notified when this site is finally updated, Mail Me!

Urban Cave information

Received my copy in the mail today - they were definitely right about the quick shipping turnaround. The pictures and liner notes are awesome, definitely order one from the BRO-shop, it's an awesome album.

Speaking of Urban Cave, there is an update on the Brothermusic.com website, showing the track listing, several sound files and insights into the album on the Urban Cave page.

My reviews and pictures are coming slowly, due to a really busy life and various computer issues. Trust me, I haven't lost my notes from the last couple of shows I saw, so be on the lookout.

Last, but not least, got some great email today from a Brother fan with thoughts about the Pittsburgh shows. Thanks so much for the email and I'll be updating the set list entries with the info I've gotten.

Pittsburgh Irish Fest, night show

Just got off the phone, the last show was apparently excellent! The guys are sounding much more solid, and really seem to be having fun. Some songs my friends remember:

Death
Fragile
Funny
Fly Away
Unknown

Glad it was a good run of shows!

Pittsburgh Irish Fest, Afternoon Show

Kind of a set list, kind of a short review. My friends called, and I got to hear part of Say Goodbye over the line, sounded great!

They played mainly what they played last night, minus Romp and Unknown. My friends remembered specifically hearing:

Death of me
Say Goodbye
How do you feel (this rocked)
Crazy
Funny
Fragile

These friends also had to say that it was the "...best sound they've heard in a while, they sounded really together today." Glad to hear it!

Also, there was a bagpipe session before this show, with Hamish, Angus and T. Sounds like all who went had a great time!

Pittsburgh Irish Fest Set List, show 1

I'm not there, but friends just called me with what they played. In no particular order:

Unk
Funny
Fragile
Lonely
Name
Death
Wear
Romp
Crazy

Sounds good, according to the report I received. More tomorrow, after more shows there. Thanks again to my roving Brother fans friends, thinking of me stuck here!

Urban Cave drops today!

Per the email I got this morning (get on the mailing list, y'all), the official release day for Urban Cave is today, Thursday, September 4th, 2003. The BRO-shop will be taking orders starting at 10pm, which coincides with...

The live-to-air radio broadcast of the Legends of Woodstock show on WDST FM. I was able to listen tonight (see previous entry) from the Bitter End, and it was a very interesting show. Even with dialup, I was able to get most of it well, and I'm hoping for the same, or better tomorrow. Give it a try!

There was also a nice note sadly bidding farewell to Rick in the email, and I promise, I will try to post a few pictures this weekend.
