Happy Birthday Angus!

It's Angus' birthday today!

Seems he likes the balloons too!

Hope he does everything that he wants to do!
ok, maybe not everything...

Happiest of birthdays, and dive into next year.

studio notes

A very cool update on BROTHERmusic.com today - check out the studio notes. To quote the website: "BROTHER is in the studio. See the music evolve...day by day." So Cool.

My favorite part -
we caught T
shaved him down
taught him to speak

A little bit about T has been added to the story section today also. Love the updates!

Video file from the Gig

Brother fan Lisa has uploaded a video file of River from the latest Gig show into the files section of the Brother2 Yahoo Group. I'm in the midst of downloading it myself, but from what snippets I've been able to see, it seems interesting. Perhaps a change in harmony? More later.

So, it's later. Finally downloaded. There's some rather pounding bass and I'm not sure if it's coming from Dez or Angus. (After mucking around with the color and brightness and stuff, I've decided it's Dez. Damn dark club, the Gig appears to be.) It also sounds like T is on the electronic drumset, but I could be wrong. Rick's spoken word part makes me giggle. Excellent job, Lisa! Love to see more!

New Pictures on BROTHERmusic

There are some new pictures today on BROTHERmusic.com, looks like they might be from the recent Internos event. An updated picture of Dez, a few groups pics, and finally a picture of T has been added to the story page. Go check them out!

Edited to add, April 25th: They've also updated the front page picture as of today.

Poll on MusikFest site

Time to get out and vote! The weekly poll on MusikFest's site is "Which 2003 concert do you most want to see?"

Brother is listed there with the Beach Boys, the B-52's and Martina McBride, among others. And as of right now, Brother is losing!!! Losing to O-Town?? What's wrong with this world??? Get out there and vote! Let them know how excited we are for Brother!

Edited on Friday, 4-18-03: Brother was leading the pack for a while there, but has now become tied with Jethro Tull for first. Get voting!

Edited on Sunday, 4-20-03: Brother is clearly winning now, 26% to Jethro Tull's paltry 18%. Go Brother fans! Great job!

Edited on Friday, 4-25-03: Still winning, 26%! Guess it wasn't a weekly poll after all.

Edited on Sunday, 4-27-03: Jethro Tull was beating Brother as of Saturday morning, I guess the Tull fans rallied. But, as of 2AM Sunday, Brother is leading again, 27% to Tull's 26%.

Edited on Wednesday, 4-30-03: Brother has triumphed! They finished with 27% of the vote, beating Jethro Tull out by 2%. Nice job, fans! Check out the results here.

Picture from Internos

The guys have a little blurb up about the Internos show on the news page. There's also a new picture there, complete with Rick in a sombrero, fitting for the fiesta theme.

New Clip and Picture

While the Brother Fan Club may be defunct, BrotherFanClub.com certainly isn't. There is a new picture of all five guys, and a short clip of Hang On after the page loads.

The clip starts with some didg, the guitars, drums, and whistle, which sounds cool. It encompasses "One day I'll turn around..." through "...cause we know, when we go, we won't take", where it just cuts off. Harsh! I want to hear more! This is an awesome arrangement, Brother at their best!

Can't wait for this CD!
